The Windharbor role between a business owner and a funding partner
Windharbor Advances is a business funding broker, not a lender. It takes a request by phone or through the short form and passes it to funding partners, and each partner reviews the request and makes its own decision and offer. Windharbor does not lend money, does not underwrite and does not decide whether a request is funded.
No offer, rate or approval appears on any Windharbor page
No page on this site is a loan offer, a rate quote, an approval or a commitment about how much funding a business can receive or how soon it arrives. Rates, terms and amounts come only from a funding partner, in that partner's written offer. Sending the form is not a credit application; a funding partner may check credit during its own review.
Census counts and invented examples on Windharbor pages
Figures on these pages come from U.S. Census Bureau programs such as County Business Patterns, ZIP Code Business Patterns, Nonemployer Statistics and the American Community Survey, each labeled with its geography and year. A Charleston County, SC figure describes the county and a ZIP 29464 figure describes that ZIP, never the town of Mount Pleasant as a whole. Payment and cost examples marked "Illustration only, invented figures" are arithmetic on made-up numbers, not offers.
Funding types and businesses outside the Windharbor request desk
Windharbor passes along requests for business purposes only. It does not arrange startup loans, SBA loans, real estate mortgages, personal or consumer loans or factoring, and it does not arrange funding for trucking or agriculture.
